the central idea of Christianity is NOT to be a good person, but rather to accept that your own acts of goodness are in fact, and insult to His goodness, which cannot be compared to be anything we can do

you broke God’s law by sinning; lying, stealing, adultery, blasphemy, idolatry, and countless others. thousands of times.

if God is a just and fair judge, he will give you justice. the death penalty. “for the wages of sin are death”. Romans 6:23

fortunately, God doesn’t want that to happen to you, so he made provision for you.

he sent His son to take the punishment for you, so your fine is paid in full.

it is the trust that you put into the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the faith that he paid your fine and that you are a new being, and the act of repenting (admitting your sin and turning away from it) that will save you.

it cannot be earned, but is a free gift

we all think we’re ‘good’ people, with ‘good’ intentions and a ‘good’ heart

but really, we’re all lying, lustful, thieving idolaters at heart, in desperate need of a savior.

and that’s where Jesus comes in.

Well DUH that is not a person. The ovum hasn’t even been fertilized yet, therefor, conception has not occurred. What the abortion supporters do not comprehend is that abortions are not preformed seconds after the ovum is fertilized. The unborn baby in the womb already has limbs, a head, torso, forming organs, and even a heart beat by the time it is killed.
spiritualinspiration:

Today, submit your prayers to the Lord and keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking on the door, and it will be opened to you. Know that God is working behind the scenes. He perfecting whatever concerns you. Don’t give up! Instead, start thanking Him for His faithfulness in your life. Thank Him for His promise that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek after Him!
why so many people are missing it:

new belief requires faith

deep faith requires revealtion

God brings revelation

belief in God requires God.

so the need for the basis of faith in God, is brought by believing.

that’s why it’s called a leap; you have to give to get.

love is affection
love is discipline
love is action
